The other day Tracy discussed occupations at school. As we were driving we discussed different careers people have and what they do at these jobs. We talked about what Daddy does and what firemen do etc. I then asked Trace what Mommies do and this was his response:

Everett the lyricist
This is Everett's version of "The wheels on the bus", and NO, he didn't get them from me:
The Wheels on the bus go round and round.....
The wipers on the bus go swish swish swish....
The people on the bus go up and down....
The driver on the bus says MOVE YOUR BUTTS (rather than move on back)....

Kids these days...
I don't think of myself as old but occasionally I realize I am from a completely different generation. Yesterday in primary we were talking about good and bad things we can do. The gal doing sharing time asked for some examples of things we shouldn't do and these are a few of the responses:
Drink alcohol
Smoke
Lie
and my favorite....
SEND SPAM EMAIL!
Seriously, kids are hilarious.

Too much blogging?
I have been blogging a lot lately because Summer seems to always be hungry (MOOOOO!) and because I am working on launching another blog. The boys are always interested in what I am putting on our blog and I have thought it was cute. That is why we added the little pet widgets. They like to feed them whenever they can. Anyway, I realized today that all my blogging is really rubbing off on them. Tracy was playing with a toy camera and pretending to take my picture. After he was done he said, "This is definitely going on my blog!" Kids today.

Sweet Moment
It is no secret Tracy absolutely adores his baby sister. It is hard to take pictures of her alone because he is always by her side. He takes his role as big brother very seriously. Yesterday Summer had hiccups and he grew concerned. He put his hands on her head and said, "I'd better give her a blessing." I thought is would be a good teaching moment so I asked him, "When do you get blessings?" His reply was, "When I am SIX (rather than sick)." I think something was lost in translation when he learned about the priesthood.
