The Joys of Little Boys...

Recently we played musical chairs with the rooms in our house. We are pretty much done, but there are a few details left to tackle. One of these things is putting a lock on our new office door. When I got out of the shower the other day I was welcomed by two very colorful little boys.....

Tracy painted his face as venom and Everett's as "PooPoo Panda" (Po Panda from Kung-Fu Panda actually). The cute thing is Tracy colored on a soul patch like his Uncle Mike whom he adores. The not so cute thing is he got to sport it at church the next day because it wouldn't wash off. It was one of those moments I had to decide whether or not to scream or laugh. I chose the latter. Life is short and Tracy was very proud of his work.

They're artists! I've been painting cat/dog faces on my girls the last few days to help out with playing. Sadly, I can't even blame that on them... ;o)

Hilarious. . . because it's not Fi sporting the marker to church. . . yet. You're a very patient mom.

First off, the soul patch kills me- I love that they got to sport their new looks at church too. Classic.
Second, your tribute to your mom was beautiful. Seriously, you are unbelievably strong, and your love for her shines through you. I think you are amazing.

Livi did that with fingernail polish - 7 bottles of it. Only she didn't get as much on herself as she did on the floor, the carpet, the bookcase, and the white (brand new) bathroom cabinets. I did scream - out of shock, and then I cried. It didn't all come off and yes, she did wear her colors to church that day - it happened 5 minutes before sacrament meeting started so I had no choice. Oh sure, I laugh about it now - hardy har har.
