MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE!

We can hardly believe it, but on June 29th Tracy turned four! We are so proud of him and feel grateful to have such a sweet "big boy". We celebrated with friends on Saturday by having a Transformer party.

When the kids first arrived we gave them Autobot names and made masks in preparation for a water gun battle against the Decepticons. Collinox, Megatol, Kieratron, Infernoakley, Ultratrace and Transpencer.

AUTOBOTS VS. DECEPTICONS

The children loved being able to shoot the adults, especially if they were their own parents. The most excitement came when Battle Commander Ultraleesa busted out a secret weapon for the Autobots-water balloons! If it hadn't been so hot, the adults may have been upset. I wouldn't have cared though because I paid my dues filling up the darn things. Half of them broke while I was filling them and I got soaked! Obviously, the Autobots won the battle and were rewarded with star badges for bravery.

Next on the agenda was a pinata. It was a police car we pretended was the Decepticon Barricade. We almost had a few run-ins with the bat, but luckily the pinata busted open without anyone being injured. I put some bracelets in for the girls, but both Tracy and Everett were very excited about them and couldn't wait to put them on. The pink ones were their favorites. The kids did such a good job collecting the loot we hardly had anything to clean up!

The cake looked a lot cooler when I pictured it in my head but Tracy was very excited about the Transformers fighting on the top. It was supposed to be a battle scene with a dirt road and a volcano. I lucked out finding a sparkler candle. It made the volcano look like it was erupting! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves Tracy definitely loved playing Transformers with someone other than Mom.

CAUGHT IN THE ACT!!!
While getting ready for the party I caught Everett trying to sneak a bite of cake. He is such a little stinker but he was so cute at the party. He ran around like he was one of the big kids and held his own ground. As you can see, he also has one of the water guns. He got into them and emptied the majority before we started the water fight.
On Sunday we had a family party. Trace had been asking for sketchers for months, but we weren't sure if he'd really be excited about getting them for his birthday. Well, they ended up being his favorite gift! When he opened them he immediately put them on and started running around the yard. It took some convincing to get him back over to his gifts so he could finish opening them. Mommy is very excited to have a shoe shopping buddy in the family!

DISCLAIMER: Sorry this post is all over the place. I have been having contractions all day and wanted to post Tracy's birthday photos in case we end up having the baby tonight!
FALSE ALARM!!!

Everything was wonderful. The cake was great- I hope someday I can be ingenious for Zoe. I am glad Tracy didn't get a little sister on his birthday. I hope everything is okay and the little girl will get here.

The mom of the year goes to Leesa Bollinger! How cute was that? I guess I have to start gearin up for boy parties. I am only use to princess parties. I am glad that you will be able to help me out with some great ideas.
